You’re replacing resentment with gratitude, fear with confidence, and the familiar expectation of shortage with the possibility of having more than enough.

Bless Your Bills, But Don’t Forget Your Bank Balance

Of course, Florence’s teachings weren’t an invitation to ignore reality.

If your electricity company has charged you for powering a small village, challenge the bill.

If money is tight, arrange a payment plan.

And if you’ve subscribed to seventeen streaming services, perhaps the Universe is gently suggesting you cancel sixteen of them.

Blessing a bill doesn’t mean paying anything anyone asks for.

It means handling money without treating every outgoing dollar as a personal tragedy.

Try this little experiment for seven days.

Whenever money leaves your hands, whether for groceries, fuel, rent, or a cup of coffee, mentally bless the transaction.

“I bless this bill, I bless the money that pays it, and I welcome greater prosperity into my life.”

Then pay attention to how you feel, the opportunities you notice, and the decisions you make.

You might discover that prosperity begins with a surprisingly ordinary change.

You stop treating money as the enemy.

And who knows?

The next envelope through your letterbox might contain something considerably more exciting than an electricity bill.
