Most people are surprisingly polite when asking the Universe for money.

“I’d like a little more, please.”

“Whatever you think is appropriate.”

“No hurry.”

Florence Scovel Shinn would probably have raised an eyebrow.

Florence didn’t teach people to approach prosperity as though they were asking a stern bank manager for an overdraft. She believed in Divine Supply, the power of the spoken word, and declaring what you wanted with faith and confidence.

So today, we’re going to be a little more ambitious.

We’re going to command $100,000.

Why $100,000?

Because “I want more money” is wonderfully vague.

Ask for more money, and you might find a $10 bill in an old coat.

Technically, request fulfilled.

Very funny, Universe.

But $100,000 gives the mind something definite to contemplate.

This isn’t about believing you’ll mutter an affirmation three times and discover a suitcase containing $100,000 behind the hydrangeas.

Florence’s approach to prosperity was never simply about sitting around waiting.

Your words establish an expectation. Your expectation can influence what you notice, how confidently you act, and whether you follow opportunities when they appear.

Give Your Money an Instruction

Florence famously described your word as your wand.

So, instead of:

“I wish I had more money.”

Try something with considerably more backbone:

“I now command $100,000 into my life through perfect, prosperous, Divine channels.”

Say it without desperately wondering where it’s coming from.

That’s important.

Florence believed we often make the mistake of deciding exactly how our good must arrive.

Perhaps you’re expecting one enormous cheque.

But what if your $100,000 comes through a business idea, royalties, commissions, investments, a new career, property, several income streams, or an opportunity you haven’t even encountered yet?

Don’t give Divine Intelligence a map.

Your $100,000 Challenge

Here’s today’s experiment.

Write this command in the comments:

“I now command $100,000 into my life through perfect, prosperous, Divine channels.”

Then say it every morning for the next seven days.

But there’s a second part.

After saying it, ask:

“What can I do today that moves me towards it?”

Write it down…

That’s where things become interesting.

Watch What Starts Appearing

Once $100,000 becomes a serious target, your questions change.

What if I could create something?

What if I could sell something?

Is there a skill I could turn into income?

Should I make that telephone call?

What about the idea I’ve been ignoring for six months?

Perhaps manifestation isn’t always about money magically finding you.

Sometimes it may be about finally noticing the road that leads to it.

Florence called this Divine Guidance.

An opportunity might arrive looking completely ordinary: an introduction, an email, an idea, a conversation, or an unexpected invitation.

The trouble is, many people ask for abundance and then reject the vehicle because it doesn’t look sufficiently miraculous.

We want trumpets.

The Universe sends Dave from Accounts with a business idea.

Talk to Dave.

Now Give the Universe Something to Work With

Commanding $100,000 isn’t a guarantee that $100,000 will suddenly appear.

It’s a declaration of intention.

Speak prosperity instead of scarcity. Expect possibilities instead of automatically dismissing them. Then move when something feels worth pursuing.

Give your word.

Keep your eyes open.

Take action.

And perhaps most importantly, don’t spend the rest of the day canceling your command by announcing that you’re broke.

Florence would never approve.
